The very initial name of research was CHARCHAR in french language in 1665, they explained its meaning as discovery or new knowledge or journey or travel, than this word was called as Re-char and than latest name is Re-search in Latin.
Difference between Basic and Applied Research?
Basic Research:
This type of research deals with about gathring information regarding certain phenomena , like we want to know about stress for this we collect information about it from existing knowledge we called it as basic research
Applied Research:
Applied Research involves resolution of any specfic problem or practical application of any problem like to know what are the causes of stress or how to deal with stress how or how to end memory issues how to deal with aggression
